Romanian National Report – TransFormWork II

The TransFormWork II project, officially entitled Social partners together towards a better and effective regulation of Artificial Intelligence for a just transition to the work of the future, has set the objective of purposefully managing the effects of AI and algorithmic management and its impact on the work of the future.

To this end, national social partners from 7 EU Member States (Bulgaria, Cyprus, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Poland, and Romania) have each conducted researches showcasing the AI adoption in their respective countries as well as the perspectives of implementation of emerging technologies.

The present national country report analyzed Romania’s history and relation with technologies, present regulations in regards to artificial intelligence, and the positions of national social partners. Through a qualitative research based on interviews with representatives from five economic sectors, the report showcased the AI adoption & algorithmic management in these domains.
